Carrington Care has a long standing partnership with Casey College supporting their students through their clinical work placements as part of their Certificate III in Aged Care Work Qualification. The College’s students are consistently well prepared for work placement and display essential knowledge and skills learnt in the classroom when working with our residents. As a representative of the aged care industry, I would recommend Casey College to any potential future students as a Registered Training Organisation that produces students who are job ready and have the skills, knowledge and experience to make a difference in the lives of our residents. – Katherine P – Organisational Development Coordinator, Carrington Centennial Care – 24/4/2013

I was thinking of changing Careers, I wanted a role that made a difference in the lives of people, and within the community. A colleague recommended I study Certificate III in Aged Care at Casey College. I was excited and scared at the same time.
I found the staff at Casey College extremely helpful, supportive, professional and engaging. The trainers made the course fun and interactive. The most exciting component of the course for me was the hours spent in work placement at an Aged Care Facility, where all the learning’s from the course comes to life. The work placement is organised by Casey College.
I proudly received my Certificate III in Aged Care qualification, and gained employment at the Aged Care facility I completed my work placement with, and also worked for Nursing Group.
I then wanted to continue my studies, so I enrolled in Certificate IV in Aged Care through Casey College. Casey College helped me get started and supported me throughout this course. I then continued to work in a Residential Disability Home, an Aged Care Facility and in Community based care, which I loved.
A few months later I applied for a Nursing Services Manager position at Casey Centre, which I was successful and now work on a full time basis, playing a role in ensuring we are providing an exceptional service for our aged and vulnerable.
Let Casey College support you with your journey like it did with me. – Damien B – Nursing Services Manager, Nursing Group – 2015

‘I have studied Certificated III in Aged Care with Casey College and I was very happy with my learning experience. After starting working in Aged Care industry, I did not hesitate to study Certificate IV in Aged Care with Casey College. The course helps me understand the management and operation of Aged Care in more details and I became more confident in my ability.
